Helen E. Fancy

Helen Eileen Fancy, age 89 of Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg and formerly of Lower Cornwall passed away January 18, 2010 in Harbour View Haven. Born in Lower Cornwall she was a daughter of the late Albert and Minnie (Ernst) Dimmell. Helen was a member of New Cornwall Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Marguerite Barkhouse, Lower Cornwall; son, Arnold (Diane) Fancy, Clearland; sister, Phyllis Comstock, Bridgewater; grandchildren, Wendy, Carson, Patricia, Van, Todd; great-grandchildren, Lindsay, Dylan, Gillian, Desiree; great-great-grandson, Spencer Clarence. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence; son, Milton; grandsons, Neil & Scott; sisters, Audrey Dimmell, Edith Knickle; brother, Ronald. Visiting will be 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, January 21, 2010 in New Cornwall Baptist Church, New Cornwall, Rev. Lloyd Gillieo officiating, assisted by Rev. Douglas Porter. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Flowers from th immediate family only.
