Lucille Jean Corkum

Lucille Jean Corkum, 72 of Mahone Bay, passed away March 6, 2010 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born on Steven’s Island, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Joudrey) Heisler. Lucille loved to crochet, knit and read. An avid bowler, she was the proud recipient of numerous trophies. Prior to her retirement several years ago, she had worked at Mahone Nursing Home caring for the residents. She is survived by her husband, Clayton. Cremation has taken place. A private scattering of ashes will be held at a later date.
