Mildred I. Langille

Mildred Irene Langille -100, of Northwest, passed away August 16, 2010 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born May 4, 1910 in Big Lots, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie (Rhuland) Oickle.

Mildred is survived by daughters, Beatrice Knickle, Lower Cornwall; Evelyn (Perry) Veinot and Fay Crouse, all of Fauxburg; Rose (Ray) Wambolt, Yvonne Rose (Jerome Tanner), all of Northwest; Doreen (Norman) Mossman, Upper Kingsburg; sister, Jean Oickle, Bridgewater; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; one, great-great-great-grandchild.

Mildred was predeceased by her husband, Walter; an infant son; sons-in-law, Clarence Knickle, Herman Crouse and Gordon Rose; brothers, Wilfred, Cecil, Evan, Charles, Paul and Gordon; sister, Edith Bolivar.

Visiting will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010 at St. James’ Anglican Church, Mahone Bay, Rev. Bonnie Baird officiating. Burial will be in the Northwest Cemetery, Norhtwest.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Victorian Order of Nurses, Lunenburg County Branch or St. James’ Anglican Church.
