Clara May Wile

Clara May Wile -93, of Martin's River, passed away August 20, 2010 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born July 5, 1917 in Middle New Cornwall, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Bruhm) Dorey.

Clara loved country music and enjoyed good jokes with her unique sense of humour.

She is survived by her husband, Hughie; daughters, Marlene Swinemar, Western Shore; Rosalie (Ronnie) Knickle; Martin's River; sisters, Vera (Peter Woods) Cook, Martin's Point; Pauline Donnelly; Montreal; brother, Clark (Margie) Dorey, Dartmouth; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Clara was predeceased by sisters, Hazel and Roma; brothers, Albert and Russell; sons- in- law, Hartley Swinemar and Gordon Hiltz.

No visiting by request. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, August 27, 2010 at Hillside Cemetery, Clearland, Rev. Michael Mitchell officiating. No flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made to Victorian Order of Nurses, Lunenburg County Branch; IWK Health Centre Foundation or Martin's River Fire Department.
