Robert S. Joudrey

Robert Stephen Joudrey, age 90, of Blockhouse, passed away at home on October 19, 2015.

Born in Blockhouse, he was a son of the late Edwin and Rebecca (Eichel) Joudrey.

His passion was working in his mill, sawing lumber for himself and others. He was a carpenter for many years with the former E.W. Dorey & Son, Blockhouse. He enjoyed his regular Sunday morning breakfast with his closest friends at The Happy Cooker, Blockhouse.

Robert is survived by his son, Ricky (Sharon), Blockhouse.

He predeceased by his wife, Katheryn (Dagley) Joudrey and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

A private family committal of ashes was held at Garden of Rest Cemetery, Blockhouse.

Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
