Betty G. Zwicker

Betty Gloria Zwicker, formerly of Clearland, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay.


Born in Clearland, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Phyllis (DeLorey) Dorey.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Ron Crowell, Clearland; son, Sidney (Libby Dorey) Zwicker, Smithers, B.C.; sisters, Elizabeth Kane, Mahone Bay; Gladys (Jerry) Parsons, Clearland; Sally (George) Wilson, Martins River; Paulette Barkhouse, Martins Point; Patricia (James) Benoit, Western Shore; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by sisters, Joyce and Stella; brothers, James, Sydney and Roy.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Mahone Nursing Home Residence Fund.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Mahone Nursing Home for their wonderful care given to Betty.

Cremation has taken place with burial at a later date.
