S. Scott Carnegy

CARNEGY, Stanley "Scott". Born October 31, 1926. Died painlessly and peacefully in his 90th year. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jane; his son, Eric (Linda); daughter, Robin; and his grandchildren, Duncan and Catherine. He was the youngest son of Rev. Charles Carnegy and Jemina Strachan Hay, (both of Scotland). He was predeceased by his son, Ian Charles; and his brothers, David, Robert and Keith. He was born in Irricana, Alta., and at a very young age attended Acadia University. He graduated with a degree in organic chemistry and worked for many years in the oil industry. He and Jane retired to Mahone Bay to be closer to their son and grandchildren. He lived an active life until recently and thoroughly enjoyed his life and many friends in Mahone Bay. Cremation has taken place and there will be no ceremony at his request. A Celebration of Life will occur at a later date.
