Arlene L. Wile
Arlene Laverna Wile, a long-time resident of Middle Cornwall, passed away on September 15, 2016, at the QEII Health Sciences Center-Infirmary Site, Halifax, surrounded by her family.

Born September 30, 1937, in Newburne, she was a daughter of the late Ada (Corkum) and Anthony Eisnor. She lived most of her life in Middle Cornwall with her late husband, Gerald, on a beautiful farm. She spent her life caring for her family.

She is survived by her sisters, Flora Lohnes (Keith) and Delitha Crawley (Donald); daughters, Peggy Greek-Crouse (Billy Wentzell) and Gretchen Oickle (Barry); sons, Russell and Victor (Bonnie); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, all of whom brought great joy to her life.

After the passing of her husband, Arlene moved to Cookville and spent her time with her partner, Carmon Schwartz.

Arlene was predeceased by her brothers, Merle, Tony and Clinton.

Arlene was known for her great sense of humor, her love for her family and music, her cooking and baking and her strong faith in God.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2-4pm, Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016 at the Upper Cornwall Community Hall.

Memorial donations can be made to Autism Nova Scotia and Canadian Liver Foundation.
