Marjorie E. Marsh

Marjorie Ellen Marsh, Age 90, passed away in Mahone Nursing Home on February 9, 2017. Born in Yarmouth to Jeremiah and Lily (Atkinson) Morton, she was the youngest of nine and the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Marjorie is survived by daughters Pamela Barker, Herman’s Island and Linda (Grant) Wyman, Bridgewater. She will be greatly missed by grandchildren Jennifer, Florence, Italy; Jefferson (Tracy), Toronto; Gwyneth, Vancouver; and her three great-grandchildren, Zachary and Mackenzie Hall and Juliet Hall-Betti. She is also survived by stepdaughter Carole (Robert) Bertoia and family in British Columbia and many nieces and nephews.

Marjorie was predeceased by husband John Lewis Robertson and infant son John Lewis Robertson, Jr., as well as husband Allan F.C. Marsh, grandson Jeffery Bertoia, and son-in-law John M. Barker.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in Mahone Funeral Home, 32 Parish Street, Mahone Bay. Internment will take place at a later date.

The family extends special thanks to the staff of Mahone Nursing Home, and to Karen and Lloyd Westhaver for their longstanding care and support.
