Clarice J. Pearse

The family of Clarice Pearse, age 86, is heartbroken to announce her sudden passing at her home in Blockhouse, on Friday, February 17, 2017.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

She was born December 26, 1930 in Blockhouse to the late Allister and Emily (Mader) Ernst.

Clarice is survived by her son, Steven (Carol), Maitland; daughter, Andrea, Halifax; sister, Doreen O’Meara, Mader’s Cove; grandchildren, Emily, Brianna, Shauna, Wade, and Kim; great-grandchildren Stella, Sierra, Dakota, Lucas, Britton, and Sydney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Lorne “Al” Pearse; sister, Helen; brothers, Roderick, Warren, and Bruce; infant son, Craig.

Visitation will be held 7-9pm, Tuesday, February 21 in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay.

Cremation has taken place. A private family burial service will be held at a later date at Garden of Rest Cemetery, Blockhouse.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to SHAID Tree Animal Shelter or Garden of Rest Cemetery Fund, Blockhouse.
