Enid I. Mosher
1934-2017
Born in Oakland, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Mae (Joudrey) Hamm.
She leaves to mourn, daughter, Judy (Dave) Wileville; step-son, Jimmy, BC; grandchildren, Tommy (Tanya), Kentville; Kristina (Mike), Dayspring; Corey (Amanda), Lower Sackville; David (Crystal), Chester Basin; Patrick, Calgary; step-granddaughters, Michelle and Tanya; six great-grandchildren, Brennan, Clara, Brianna, Nicole, Julia, Jenna; sisters, Thelma and June, Halifax; brother, Arnold (Loretta), BC; daughter-in-law, Wanda; many nieces and nephews.
Enid was predeceased by her husband, Thomas “Tom”; son, David; seven sisters, Katherine, Carrie, Genevieve, Margaret, Doris, Rose, Ruth; four brothers, Feldon, Victor, Freddie, Carl.
Enid was an avid homemaker and cook. She looked forward to family visits so she could make her delicious seafood chowder. She got great enjoyment every summer watching her flower gardens blossom. She was a devoted Maple Leaf’s fan, never missing a game. If one ever wanted an update on current news or weather, she was the lady to call. She will be greatly missed.
The family requests memorial donations be made to The Rose Fund.
A memorial service will be held 2pm, Saturday, February 25 at Trinity United Church, Mahone Bay, The Rev. Lee Simpson officiating.
