Lila J. O'Connor

The lady whom Premier Savage called “The Bulldog” of the Liberal Caucus passed peacefully at 77 years of age. Leaving behind with fondest memories are husband Michael, children Michael/June, Kathleen/Glenn and Timothy/Yvonne, and grandchildren Meghan/Owen, Glenn/Jessica, Sean, Ryan, Adrienne/Colin, Alexander, Maggie, Jayne/Evan and Michael, along with her many friends. Her family and friends will remember Lila as someone who cared for everyone. Organizations like the Rose Fund, Cancer Society, Helpline, U.C.W. and others benefitted from her empathetic nature. A Service of Remembrance will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Trinity United Church, 101 Edgewater Street, Mahone Bay.
