James "Jimmy" Roy

ROY, James Aurele. On December 11, 2017, James Aurele Roy, bravest of men, fought hard but lost his battle with cancer. At age 71, he passed with his family and friends at his side. Jim, “Jimmy”, as he was known, will be lovingly remembered by the light and love of his life, his wife of 47 years, Margot; his daughters, Michelle (Stephen), Nicole (Robert) and the apple of his eye, grandson, Tristan and as well by his mother, Mary; sisters, Lorraine, Eileen (Murray), Ann (Bruce); brothers, David (Sandy) and Donald (Carol). Jimmy was a proud family man. He loved to work and tinker around his home. He loved to watch the ocean and sneak sweets and baked goods when able. Jim inspired all by his amazing work ethic as he only recently retired after 44 years with Louisiana Pacific, East Chester. A private memorial will be held for family and close friends in the spring.
