Treva E. Rhuland

Treva Elizabeth Rhuland. Age 91, Mahone Bay, passed away December 25, 2017 at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.

Born in Indian Point on April 8, 1926 to the late Willie W. Hyson and Eveline L. (Langille) Hyson.

Survived by son, James, Mahone Bay; daughter, Linda, Yarmouth, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Matthew Rhuland; sisters, Bernice and Phyllis Levy; bother-in-law, Kingsley Levy.

Mom was a knitter most of her life and worked at Rhuland’s Save Easy in Mahone Bay for several years. Special thank you to the Medical Unit staff at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital for their care while Mom was in the hospital.

No visiting by request. A memorial service will be held 2pm, Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Mahone Bay, Pastor Adam Snook officiating.

Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church or Canadian Diabetes Association.
