Bertha Evelyn Lucille Horne

Bertha Evelyn Lucille Horne, 90 of Big Lots, Maitland, entered Heaven from South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, Friday, February 23rd, 2018. She devoted her life with love and kindness to her family and we will forever treasure our years with her. Born in Mahone Bay, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Eva (Nauss) Fancy. Surviving are daughters, Norma (Bub) Hiltz, Linda (Kendall) Lohnes, and son Richard ( Heather) Horne. Grandchildren Nacole, Joel, Trina, Amanda, and Vickie. Great-grandchildren Nicholas, Olivia, Klay, Mariah, Brady and Jayden. She was predeceased by her husband Donald; sisters, Sigrid, Lorna, Doris; brother, Cecil Jr.; beloved granddaughter, Sherry and nieces and nephews. A celebration of Bertha’s life will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 28th at Mahone Bay Baptist Church, Rev. Sherrolyn Riley officiating. Reception to follow the service. Burial at Garden of Rest Cemetery, Blockhouse. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mahone Bay Baptist Church; Garden of Rest Cemetery or charity of choice.
