Rosemarie Keddy

Rosemarie Keddy, 79 passed away on March 04, 2018 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax.

She was born on December 31, 1938, in Halifax to James Pattingale and Gladys Muriel (Foster) Pattingale.

Rosemarie married the love of her life, Paul, in 1960 in Saint John, NB. They were happily married for 50 years. Rosemarie was a member of the Mahone Bay Baptist Church, an active member of the Mahone Bay Royal Canadian Legion Branch 49 and the order of the Eastern Star No. 8. She enjoyed spending time with family and was an avid bingo player both online and off. She enjoyed morning chats, coffee, and pictures of her great-granddaughter.

Rosemarie was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Keddy; sister, Linda MacInnis; Mom, Gladys and Father, James.

Rosemarie is survived by her daughter’s, Holly (Charles) Probert of Lantz/Port Hastings; Nicole Keddy of Bridgewater; son, Paul Keddy (Iain) of Kentville; grandchildren, Matthew Probert (Hayley), Charles Henry (Dominique) Probert, Katherine Probert, Gregory Probert and Samantha Keddy; great-granddaughter Alexis Quinn; sister, Faye Wilneff; nieces Kim Stack, Claudette Stewart and Michelle MacInnis; nephews Glenn Keddy, Jason MacInnis and Michael Wilneff.

A private graveside committal will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations are made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or SHAID Tree Animal Shelter.
