Donna M. Nauss
Donna Mildred Nauss(Langille). Born in Mahone Bay, December 27th 1928 - May 14th 2018.

Donna passed away at Abbie J. Lane Memorial Building, QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, with daughter Stacey by her side.

Daughter of the late Donald Langille and the late Mildred (Awalt) Morash. Beloved wife of the late George Nauss. Loving mother to Stacey, Joel (Diane), Peter (Kathryn) and Brock. Dearly loved grandmother of Stephen Nauss, Christopher Nauss and Rachel Murphy.

Heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Abbie J. Lane for the care and kindness shown to Donna during her recent illness.

St. James’ Anglican Church, Mahone Bay, was a very important part of Donna’s life. Being a member of St. James’, she served as a proud member of the ACW, St. James Parish Council and a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was also an active member of the Mahone Bay Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Over the years community service was important to Donna. Donna committed her life to family, church, community and charities. She took on leadership roles and willingly made sacrifices for others wherever and whenever it was required. Donna gained respect and admiration from people in high offices, loyalty and love from her close friends and relatives and appreciation from average people on the streets. Donna lives on in the memories of those who loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 18th 2018 at St. James’ Anglican Church, Edgewater St., Mahone Bay with Father Chad McCharles officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. James’ Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
