Kevin G. Hiltz
Kevin Gordon Hiltz, 51, of Martin’s River, passed away peacefully at South Shore Regional Hospital on June 21, 2018, after a short, courageous battle with lung cancer, with his loving family at his side.

He leaves behind his loving mother, Rosalie, and step-father Ronnie Knickle, beautiful daughter Amber (Devon), his loving wife, Monique, step son Brandon and beautiful step-daughter, Nikita, three beautiful grandchildren, Weston, Levi, and Clara, step brothers Michael and Jamie (Lana), half sister Bobbi Jo, and Sara, nieces and nephews Tiphanie, Taylor, Noah, Emma, Zachary, Abigail, Grace, Jacob, and Elizebeth, his god-mother and Aunt, Aunt Marlene, cousins Joanne (Gerald), Roddy (Charlotte), and Annette (Robert), Uncle Roger (Aunt Lavine), Aunt Bonnie (Ivan), cousins Terrie and Lori (Kyle), Aunt CarolLynn (Pamela) and Uncle Jamie. Great nephew Jayden. Also, Johnny Hatt, Tim Dorey, and Wayne Risser, his best friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Gordon Hiltz, maternal grandparents Clara and Hughie Wile, paternal grandparents Marshall and Pauline Hiltz, Uncle Cyril Hiltz, and his god father, Uncle Hartley.

He was an employee at RPS Composites for the last 7 years. He made lengths of pipe and worked mainly in the carpentry area crating parts for shipping. He loved to socialize with his co-workers, and would always stop to have a yarn or leave a fart and wait for the smell to waft up their noses……wouldn’t he laugh!! He just loved to pick at people!!

He loved his family. His daughter he loved like no other, and his grandchildren were the apple of his eye. He will be their guardian angel.

He found his soul mate and she was so blessed to have him for the time she did.

Kevin was a loving son, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, friend and a very loving husband, he loved life and laughter. He will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation Wednesday June 27, 2018 from 7pm-9pm in Mahone Funeral Home, 32 Parish St., Mahone Bay from where a Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday June 28, 2018. Private burial to follow. Please join us at the Martins River Fire Hall for refreshments.

Donations can be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital, Martins River Fire Department or New Cornwall Baptist Church.
