Barry M. Veinotte

Barry Maurice Veinotte, age 54, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 11th, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

Barry was a very special person to so many people in his life. A wonderful son, father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend.

Barry is survived by his spouse Laura; daughters, Chelsey and Isabella; parents, Pat and Errol; sister, Bonnie (Joel); nieces, Olivia and Tova; nephews, Tristan and Logan; grandmother, Nanny Grace; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Barry grew up in Mahone Bay where he attended Parkview Education Center. Barry was an avid basketball player, swimmer and had a love for kayaking. After graduation, Barry went into the field of electronics and later on to telecommunications. Barry had a love for Indian Motorcycles, his dayton boots and his red MG in which he made a round trip to Vancouver and back in 1986 with his friends. An adventure they would never forget. Barry loved the outdoors, his family and friends, parties and get-togethers. He was a super kind and fun loving person who made you feel great just being by his side. Barry was an irreplaceable Dad and uncle who had a wicked sense of humour and knew how to have fun!! Barry could always make you laugh with his funny antics. No one ever met Barry that didn’t say, “he was the nicest guy they’d ever met”. Barry, we will carry you in our hearts and lives every day. We love you.

No visiting hours. A Celebration of Life service for Barry will be held 2pm, Wednesday, July 25th 2018 at Trinity United Church, Mahone Bay.
