Floyd A. Spidle

Floyd Arthur Spidle (June 16, 1932 - February 12, 2019) Age 86 years, of Clearland, passed away peacefully in Mahone Nursing Home.

Floyd is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jean (nee Wilson); daughters, Shirley (Piers) and Darlene; granddaughters, Annette (Tim), Jennifer (Tim) and Dacia (Adrian); grandson Adam (Chelsey); several great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Rita Spidle; sisters, Grace and Marjorie; son-in-law, Stephen Boliver.

Floyd had various employments as a sheet metal worker and ended his career retiring from HMCS Dockyard. He loved camping and RVing and spent his retirement years traveling North America and wintering in Florida.

No visitation by request. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in Mahone Funeral Home, 32 Parish St., Mahone Bay, Rev. James Haughn officiating.

Family flowers only. Memorial donations are requested by the family to be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Hillside Cemetery, Clearland.
