Paul G. Ernst

With great sadness we announce the passing of Paul Gerald Ernst.

Much loved and cherished husband of the late Carol Jean Ernst.

Predeceased by brother, John.

Leaving to mourn, nephews, Todd and Trevor, whom he loved dearly. Also numerous cousins.

Paul was born in Mahone Bay, September 21, 1944. In his growing years, he worked at Lohnes IGA, Mahone Bay. In 1962 he joined the Bank of Montreal in Kentville as a junior and throughout an interesting and challenging career spanning approximately 38 years, he and his wife lived in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Ontario. He thoroughly enjoyed his banking career, considering himself the most fortunate of men to be one who could do something he enjoyed. He retired from his position of Vice President in October 1999.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held 2 p.m., Friday, July 5th in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Mahone Bay, Pastor Adam Snook officiating.
