Connie Hancock

1960-2020

Connie Hancock

Connie Hancock. Born in Lunenburg on December 5, 1960 to Lawrence Rafuse and Joyce (Barkhouse) Rafuse.

Connie passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, on March 23, 2020.

Connie lived on the South Shore her whole life. She worked at Mahone Nursing Home and she loved her job so much. Connie had a great sense of humor and a huge, kind heart; so caring for people just came naturally. When she loved, she loved with her whole heart. Some of Connie’s favorite things were gardening, KFC, elephants, her Grand-Am car, laying in the sun, talking on the phone, radio bingo, yardsaling, Frenchy’s shopping, Oak Island, playing pogo on her computer and most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her father, Lawrence Rafuse; mother, Joyce Jesso and sister, Tammy Delorey.

She is survived by her children, Terry Hancock (Mona); Amanda Hancock (Matt); Brandon Hancock (Kristina); grandchildren, Ethan Hancock, Kiana Hancock, Katelyn Hancock, Evelyn Hancock and Amanda’s cat, Benny; sisters, Karen Leblanc (Wally); Lisa Jesso; brother, Timothy Jesso; nephews, Chris, Chad and Corey Delorey; nieces, Laura and Nicole Leblanc; Sophia and Shelby Barry.

Connie will be greatly missed. She will always be loved and in our hearts forever.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
