Huguette Pierrette McDonald. Age 79, Mahone Bay, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, April 5, 2014 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born in Oka, PQ, she was a daughter of the late Emile and Exorina (Bisson) Trottier.

She is survived by her husband, Alex McDonald, Mahone Bay; sons, Sylvain (Judy) Laroche, Lahave; Gilles (Rose) Laroche, Ottawa; daughters, Chantal Laroche and Suzie Everett, both of Blockhouse; four grandchildren, Christian Laroche and Justin Laroche, both of Ottawa; Aleecia Everett and Katherine Everett, both of Halifax.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2014, immediately followed by a memorial service, all in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay, Rev. Neil McEwen officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to South Shore Regional Hospital, SHAID Tree Animal Shelter or a charity of choice.
