Margaret E. Mader

MADER, Margaret Emma, of Mahone Bay, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 at Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg.

Born in Oakland, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Sarah (Fancy) Hirtle. Margaret enjoyed a long life and will be missed by family and friends. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Mahone Bay.

She is survived by sons, Garth (Jeanine) Mader, Ottawa; Gary (Brenda) Mader, Montreal; grandsons, Timothy (Amanda), Christopher (Luc), Josh, Brian (Krista), Derrick, Trevor, Stephen; great grandsons, Jude and Noren; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Wilbur H. Mader; sisters, Beryl “Gen” and Edna; brother, William “Willie”.

Visiting will be 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, April 10, 2014 in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Mahone Bay, Rev. Stephen Kristenson officiating. Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Mahone Bay.
