Janet J. MacNeil

Janet Joanne MacNeil, 40, of Mahone Bay died suddenly and tragically on October 27, 2014.

Janet grew up in Ottawa and attended Gloucester High School. A graduate of the University of Ottawa, Janet was a successful lawyer for over 15 years practicing in Ottawa, Moncton, Halifax, Calgary and Toronto. She and her husband recently moved to Mahone Bay and became the new owners of Zack and Nemo Mercantile. Janet’s calming influence and infectious smile endeared her to everyone she met.

She will be missed by her beloved husband, Roy. Much loved daughter of George and Joanne Bushell of Ottawa and dear sister of David Bushell of Kitchener, Ontario.

Janet is loved and will be missed by her nieces Sarah and Katie Bushell.

Memorial Donations can be made to the Mahone Bay Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No.49.
