James W. Fleck
It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of James Westwood Fleck on December 9, 2014. Born in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, he had lived in Mahone Bay for the past 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Lyn Goguen-Fleck, daughter, Emilie, sons, David (Ann), Brent (Paula), and Camren (Heather), grandsons, Cooper and Ethan, granddaughter, Abby, and niece, Leslie. His son, Andrew, passed a year ago and they are now on new adventures together. Jim is also survived by his sisters, Megg and Mary, brothers, John and Buddy. He was predeceased by his brother, William.

Jim had come to Nova Scotia in 1983 and established Culligan Water Store. His passion was breeding and racing Standardbred horses and he achieved great success in that endeavor.

Visiting hours will be 7-9 pm Thursday evening, December 11,2014 at Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay where a service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, December 12, 2014 with Rev. Stephen Kristenson officiating. Family flowers only.

Family requests memorial donations be made to Kingsburg Coastal Conservancy or Maritime Horse Protection Society.
