Raymond D. Zwicker

ZWICKER, Raymond David. At the age of 73, Raymond passed away peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the South Shore Regional Hospital Bridgewater. He was raised in Gold River and was the son of the late Blanche and Carl Zwicker. He was always available to help anyone with their auto troubles and enjoyed trying solve all their problems. He worked at the Esso in Lunenburg for many years, as a great mechanic. Ray was predeceased by his parents; brothers Cyril and Buddy; a sister, Roseanne. He is survived by his daughters, Debbie (Bruce) McAuley and Melisa Zwicker; son, Duane (Carol); brother, Donald; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11 am, Wednesday, February 18 at New Hope Community Church, Western Shore, Rev. James Haughn officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Pro Kids or South Shore Regional Hospital-Palliative Care Unit.
