Clarence E. Veinotte
Clarence Eldridge Veinotte, age 83, of Back Cornwall Road, Middle Cornwall, passed away April 16, 2015 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born in Upper Cornwall, he was a son of the late Laurie Gordon and Clover Ruth (Hallamore) Veinotte.

He was a woodsman and sawyer at Bruhm’s Mill before retiring, then spending his time outdoors until unable to do so following a stroke in 2008. He enjoyed visits from family and friends, watching Dr. Oz, CTV News and enjoyed a good cooked meal.

He is survived by daughter, Christine (George); son, Lee (Shelley); grandchildren, Joey (Kim) Veinotte, Jill Veinotte, Jamie (Jerred) Veinotte, Kristy (Gerry) Veinotte, Sarah (Richard) Veinotte, Kent (Lindsay) Zwicker, Laurie (Evan) Zwicker; great-grandchildren, Tristian, Derek, Amie, Nicholas, Joshua, Brinlee, Karson, Autumn, Abigail; sisters, Frances Frank, Geneva (Stanley) Dorey, Melba Fancy; brothers, Lawrence Veinotte and Brenton Veinotte; many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Marion (Joudrey) Veinotte; son, Keith; sisters, Hattie Taylor, Leola Sturgeon; brothers, Douglas Hallamore, George Veinotte, Leeland Veinotte, Margeson Veinotte.

Visiting will be 7 - 9pm, Sunday, April 19 in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. A funeral service will be held 11am, Monday, April 20 at New Cornwall Baptist Church, Middle Cornwall, Rev. Gini Cookman officiating. Burial will be in New Cornwall Memorial Garden.

The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Middle Cornwall or New Cornwall Memorial Garden.
