Arnold D. Myra
1921-2015
Arnold David Myra, of Gold River, born January 4, 1921 in Gold River,
died July 13, 2015 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. He
was a son of the late David and Lucy (Vaughan) Myra.
Arnold served overseas during the Second World War with the Princess Louise Fusiliers. He enjoyed carpentry work, being outdoors and going for car drives.
Surviving are his wife, Lena; numerous nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to nephews, Carmon (Ella), Sonny (Maureen), all of Gold River; Aubrey, Chester Basin and niece, Marion, Gold River.
He was predeceased by sisters, Florence, Velma, Ruby and Marion; brothers, Noble, Carmon, Winston, Eugene, Albert and Robie “Buddy”.
Visiting will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 15 at Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, July 16 at Western Shore Baptist Church, Western Shore, Rev. Joe Green officiating.
Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association.
