Wilma I. Swinimer

Wilma Irene Swinimer (Young). Age 89, of Western Shore, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at home with her husband, Roy by her side.

Born in Western Shore, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Georgina (Sawler) Young.

Wilma was a very friendly and intelligent lady. She played the guitar and sang, she was a knitter and seamstress, made her own music and played the organ. She had a very keen interest in her computer on which she spent many hours. There will be no visitation and by request, no food be brought to the house.

Left to mourn are her beloved husband, Roy; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Arline, Faye, Hilda, Florence and Blanche; brothers, Don and Murray.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, July 27 at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Martin’s Point, Rev. Peter Rafuse officiating. Burial will be in Western Shore Cemetery, Western Shore.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to St. Mark’s Anglican Church or a charity of choice.
