Wayne Gary Langille
It is with broken hearts that the family of Wayne Gary Langille, 76 of Blockhouse announce his passing on March 22, 2021 at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital with family by his side. Born in Blockhouse, August 26, 1944.

Survived by his wife, Joan (Hiltz); son, Corey (Joanne); sisters, Verona Jones, Barbara Nowe and brother, Lorne (Bente).

He was predeceased by his parents, Maurice & Joy (Spidle) Langille; sister, Verbena MacBeth and brother, Tremaine.

Wayne had a great love for his pets and the family expanded many times with furry animals that Wayne rescued. Wayne loved the simple things in life. He was a genuine people’s person. Wayne was employed with National Sea, Lunenburg for 25 years as a stationary engineer. He retired in 2004. Wayne enjoyed spending time in his workshop. He was a very talented and artistic man. Wayne created many beautiful carvings during his lifetime. Wayne was a devoted member of St. James Anglican Church in Mahone Bay and always contributed to weekly Bible Studies. Wayne will be deeply missed but never forgotten by his loving wife, Joan; son, Corey and his wife Joanne; loving dog, Jessie and numerous nieces, nephews; his family and wonderful friends.

A private committal service will be held at a later date.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Mahone Bay Legion, Branch 49; Lunenburg County VON or St. James Anglican Church, Mahone Bay.

The family would like to thank the VON and Palliative Care, Dr. Debra Gowan and nurse Kim Carlow-Berkeley for their compassion and excellent care and support.
