Chantal Laroche

Chantal Laroche, 61, of Blockhouse, Nova Scotia .

Chantal was born on March 22nd 1960 in Montreal. With great sadness, she was taken away from us on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.

She was raised in Dartmouth and settled in Mahone Bay where she finished her education. She moved to Alberta and worked there for several years and then returned back home to the South Shore. In her early years is when she learned her craft of cake decorating. Chantal had an artistic flair that was displayed in her cakes and especially in her beautiful artwork. Chantal had a heart of gold and would help anyone if asked. Chantal loved her family, near and far and often spoke of them with great pride. She also had a special bond for the friends that she became close to where she lived. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

We love and miss you Chantal.

She was predeceased by her mother, Huguette McDonald; father, Raymond Laroche; step-father, Alexander McDonald; brother, Guy Laroche.

She is survived by brother, Sylvain (Judy) Laroche, Bridgewater; brother, Gilles (Rose) Laroche, Ontario; sister, Suzie (Max) Everett, Blockhouse; nephew, Christian (Alison) Laroche, Ontario; nephew, Justin (Kourtney) Laroche, Ontario; niece, Aleecia (Matt) Everett, Montreal; niece, Katherine Everett, Dartmouth; grand niece, Oakleigh Willow Laroche, Ontario.

There will be a private service attended by family only .
