Carroll Isaac Parker Dorey
Carroll Isaac Parker Dorey, age 91, of Walden and most recently of Ashwood Lodge, Cookville, passed away December 4th 2021 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born in Walden on the family homestead, he was a son of the late Arthur and Elfreda (Hatt) Dorey.

Carroll made his living working alongside of his brothers on the land and was also instrumental in the care of his father, mother and two of his brothers who passed away before him. Carroll cared deeply for his family and always insured a comfortable home for them. He also took pride in his flower gardens each year which were admired by all. His membership in the local Walden Volunteer Fire Department was a source of pride.

He is survived by his brother, Clarence, also from Walden and currently residing at Ashwood Lodge; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by sisters, Nellie, in infancy, and Addie Mader; brothers, Aubrey, Harry, Robie, Earl and Emery.

No visiting hours. A graveside service will be held 2pm, Wednesday, December 8th 2021 in the Walden Community Cemetery, Walden, Rev. Brooklynn Lane officiating. In accordance with the Nova Scotia Proof of Full Vaccination Policy, proof of full vaccination and photo ID will be required to attend the service. Mask’s and social distancing to be observed. Please bring your own mask, chair, umbrella and dress for the weather.

Memorial donations are requested to be made to the Walden Volunteer Fire Department.
