Lloyd Thomas Lantz

LANTZ, Lloyd Thomas. Age 94 of Clearland, NS

With broken hearts we say goodbye to our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather who passed away on April 25, 2022 after a brief stay at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Son of the late Francis and Selena Lantz, Clearland, NS.

Dad was a quiet, hard working, independent man and we were blessed he was able to live in his own home right to the end.

A man of habit, whether it was his daily walks, meal time, grocery day, you knew exactly what where he’d be at any given time or day. Summer’s were spent mowing lawns, walks, looking after firewood; winter’s in his basement woodworking and the family have beautiful reminders from the breadboxes to cupboards and everything in between. Give him a picture and he’d make it.

Lloyd is survived by daughter, Susan (Reg) Veinotte, Cornwall; son, Thomas (Roxanne), Clearland; grandchildren, Annette (Dan), Andrew (Bernadette), Joanna, Chasity (Trevor), Jonathan (Stacey), Justin (Alicia), Tristin (Twyla), Atilia (Tim); step grandson, Corey (Natalie); 14 great grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Machan; brother, Donald; daughter-in-law, Louise.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Pauline Marion Langille; son, Jeffrey; sisters, Frances, Joyce, Jessie, Marjorie; brother, Carl.

If you wish to make a memorial donation, please consider The Rose Fund, St. James Anglican Church, Mahone Bay or a charity of your choice.

We, the family, would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and support staff, of South Shore Regional Hospital, who took such good care of Dad in the Emergency Room and the 4th floor. The care and compassion you showed will not be forgotten.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00p.m., Friday, April 29th 2022 in Hillside Cemetery, 381 Woodstock Road, Clearland. Rev. Dr. Patti Brace officiating.
