Alvin Charles Swinimer

Alvin Charles Swinimer, 91, of Western Shore passed away Saturday, November 19th 2022 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born in Western Shore, he was a son of the late Arthur Henry Swinimer and Lillian May (Whitehead) Swinimer.

He was best known for his smoked salmon and mackerel, having supplied local stores and people in the community. Alvin had lived his whole life in Western Shore.

Alvin is survived by daughters, Deborah and Christine; sons, Raymond, Michael (Hope); Darrel (Beth); sisters, Gladys Boutilier and Geraldine Demille; brothers, Percy (Sheila) and Arthur Jr. (Elaine); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Lila; sons, Nicholas and Kenneth; sisters, Frances Boutilier, Margaret Rafuse, Doreen Rhodenizer; brothers, Wesley, Marshall and Laurie.

Memorial donations are requested to be made to the Harding Branch #114, Royal Canadian Legion, Western Shore.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 25th 2022 at Western Shore Cemetery, Western Shore.
