Emdon Leverett Wade

WADE, Emdon Leverett - It is with heavy hearts the family of Emdon Wade shares his passing on January 23, 2023 at South Shore Regional Hospital.

Emdon is survived by his wife of 43 years Sharon; his children, Tanya (Eric) Wade-Amoah, Mary (Marc) Crouse and Michelle (Matthew) Wade Orr; his grandchildren, Savannah, Benjamin and Emmalena Wade-Amoah; Owen and Jake Crouse; Flora Wade Orr as well as his brothers, Edward Banks, Donald (Sandra) Wade; sister, Dorothy Mark; several nieces and nephews.

Emdon worked as an electrician before he retired from Halifax Shipyards. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family enjoying the time spent with his grandchildren.

Our family would like to send thanks to all the Doctors that cared for him especially Dr. Robertson and Dr Rasz. Also the team of nurses on the Medical/Surgical unit for all the special care and to his palliative care nurse, Louise, whom was caring and thoughtful during his illness.

Donations in memory of Emdon can be made to Hope for Wildlife; Christ Church Cemetery Maitland; Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Red Cross.

A private graveside service, for family only, will be held in Christ Church Cemetery, Maitland.
