Brian Cedric Veinotte

1968-2023

Brian Cedric Veinotte
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved dad, son, brother and friend, Brian Cedric Veinotte on March 16, 2023.

Brian was born on October 23, 1968 in Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg, to Cedric and Deborah (Major) Veinotte.

After Brian graduated from Parkview Education Center in 1987, he joined the Local 409 and started his sheet metal apprenticeship under his father. Brian became a successful Red Seal Journeyman and in 2013 started his own business, BCV Ventilation. Brian was extremely talented and well respected by his colleagues and his customers.

Brian had a particular knack for turning simple experiences into memorable ones. Bonfires, fireworks, camp steaks, pumpkin carving, indoor winter s’mores, pond and camp adventures were some of his favourite ways of making memories with friends and family. He was a kind and thoughtful soul and will be missed by many lives he touched.

Brian always dreamed of having a large family. He was the proud father of Katherin, Vince and Eva and was an equally dedicated stepfather who worked tirelessly to provide for all his children.

In addition to his children, Brian is survived by his wife, Tzigany; his father, Cedric (Evelyn); his sister, Belinda Eichel (Stephen); his niece, Emma Eichel; his aunts, April Rafuse (Earl Knox), Trudy Ernst (Tony), Darlene Fralick (Peter) and nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his mother, Deborah and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 28th 2023 at Mahone Funeral Home - Chapel, 32 Parish St., Mahone Bay. Reverend Brooklynn Lane officiating.
