It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Allie Assaff Younis at South Shore Regional Hospital on October 26, 2023.

Born February 16th, 1945 to Emma and Abdou Younis of Mahone Bay, Allie was the youngest of 8 children.

Devoted husband, loving Dad, Grampie and Great-Grandpa, Uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed.

Allie made his life's career with Canada Post, first in Ontario and later in Nova Scotia where he reunited with the love of his life, wife Linda. Together they enjoyed gardening and cooking, welcoming family and friends for meals and making music together. Allie was a life long Elvis fan, even joking when asked his name and birthdate during his brief hospital stay, “Elvis Presley, January 8th, 1935".

Allie was predeceased by his parents and seven siblings.

Survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Linda; children, Stephanie (Bob Chipman), Stephen (Anell); granddaughters, Haley (Brent MacAdam), Charlotte, and Emma. Great-granddaughters Stella and Lucia, several nieces and nephews in Nova Scotia and Ontario who held special places in his heart.

No visitation by Allie's request. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
