Beulah Joudrey   SERVICE UPDATE

SEVICE UPDATE: A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 18th 2024 at Mahone Funeral Home, 32 Parish St., Mahone Bay, with a reception to follow.


It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Beulah Joudrey on February 23, 2024 at Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg.

Born November 17, 1927 in East Pubnico and enjoyed calling Mahone Bay home for the majority of her life.

Survived by her daughter, Sandra Williams and granddaughter Michelle Williams, Endicott, NY; grandson, Michael Williams, Clinton, MD; sister, Lorraine MacQuarrie, Bridgewater.

Known as Gigi to her extended family, Dwight and Dorothy Rattray, Mahone Bay; Debbie and Michael Baker, Bedford and their daughters, Jessica (Kyle) and Jillian; Dwight and Jackie Rattray, Clearland; David Rattray and Suzanne Hyatt, Sarasota, FL.

Beulah was predeceased in 1983 by her husband, Scott Joudrey; her parents, Ursa and Cecil Larkin; brothers, Ellsworth and Eugene; sisters, Florence and Eleanor.

The family would like to thank Harbour View Haven for the care provided over the past year. Much gratitude is expressed to her friends at Mahone Manor who were angels that watched over her, just as she had done for so many before.

Beulah’s wishes were for cremation. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 18th 2024 at Mahone Funeral Home, 32 Parish St., Mahone Bay, with a reception to follow.

Donations in her memory are requested to be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses, Lunenburg County Branch.
