Donna E. Conrad
On March 19, 2024, Donna E. Conrad, of Mahone Bay, passed away after an illness at 69 years of age.

She was born in Lunenburg to Earle and Joyce (Fancy) Lantz.

Donna lived this life-adventure to the fullest she could. She was a good, dynamic and energetic woman who never said “no” to a challenge and defeated everything head on. She was truthful, honest, steadfast and loyal. Those who knew her respected and loved her. Her family and friends were most important in her life.

During her working years, Donna had positions in Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, Hubbards, Chester and Bridgewater. How lucky her job families were.

Mourning her passing but celebrating her life and her love are Gary M. Conrad, her husband and soulmate in adventure; sisters, Diane Matthews, Deborah (John) Croft and Cindy (Kim) Zinck as well as her nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Donna was predeceased by her Mom, Joyce and her Dad, Earle Lantz; Mom-in-law, Margie; Father-in-law, Bernie and also, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and friends who became family.

A private Celebration of Life service for immediate family and close friends will be held graveside at Park Cemetery, Mahone Bay under the direction of Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay with the Reverend James Haughn officiating.

Family flowers only, please, but memorial donations may be made to Victorian Order of Nurses; Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.

To Donna’s remaining family and friends, she will miss you all but we will meet again someday.

Thank you to the amazing friends and staff- the Paramedics; Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital; South Shore Regional Hospital; Family and Friends, Doctors, Ministers, Funeral Director and all others. Your love, kindness and compassion made this very difficult journey easier to navigate.
