Helen Veinot
In Loving Memory of Helen Veinot: A Beloved Matriarch, Wife, Mother, and Grandmother

With profound sadness yet cherished memories, we bid farewell to Helen Veinot (Wagner), a pillar of love, kindness, and strength in our lives, who passed away on March 26, 2024 at the age of 77. She was the epitome of grace, warmth, and boundless love, leaving behind a legacy of enduring compassion and positivity.

Helen will be forever cherished by the love of her life of 60 years, Leo; children, Lisa Zwicker and Kevin (Jennifer); grandchildren, Alyson Zwicker, Matthew Zwicker (Erica), Jennika, Keevan, and Jayda; siblings, Aubrey Wagner and Beulah Veinot; Dexter her canine companion, and numerous other family members and friends.

Helen was predeceased by her father, Albert Wagner, and her mother, Freda (Bolivar), Darren Zwicker (son-in-law), and Leon Veinot (brother-in-law).

Helen was the heart and soul of our family, a beacon of light who touched the lives of all who knew her. Her unwavering optimism and ability to find the good in every person and situation illuminated our lives like a guiding star. She had a rare gift for empathy, always extending a comforting hand, giving the biggest hugs, sharing her delicious food, and a listening ear to those in need.

Family and friends were the cornerstone of Helen’s life, and she embraced her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend with steadfast devotion. Her love knew no bounds, and her pride in her children and grandchildren was palpable. She found immense joy in their successes, celebrating each milestone with overflowing pride and love.

In the heart of her home, Helen reigned supreme as a culinary maestro, infusing every meal with love and warmth. Her kitchen was a haven of delicious aromas and hearty laughter, where she delighted in creating mouthwatering dishes and decadent desserts that nourished both body and soul. Her recipes will forever be cherished, passed down through generations as a testament to her culinary prowess and the love she poured into every dish.

Beyond her culinary talents, Helen leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will continue to inspire us all. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched, the memories she created, and the love she shared unconditionally.

Though she may no longer be with us in body, Helen’s spirit will forever dwell in our hearts, guiding us with her love and wisdom. As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the profound impact she had on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
